The
Aluminum Trailer Company Inc. (ATCI) warrants to the original consumer for a
period of three (3) years from the date of purchase the trailer manufactured
by ATCI shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and
workmanship supplied and attributable to ATCI. This warranty is
non-transferable and is limited to defects in workmanship performed by ATCI
only. Other components such as but not limited to tires, wheels, axles,
awnings, couplers, generators, hydraulic pumps, jacks, winches, air
conditioners, doors, 3M VHB, windows etc are covered by OEM warranties and
thus must be filed with the OEM. Also ATCIs warranty does not cover special
paints, decals or graphics. The five (5) year structural warranty covers
the structural portion of the ATCI trailer shall be free from manufacturing
defects in materials and workmanship supplied and attributable to ATCI. The
structural portion of the warranty shall include the main aluminum frame and
all the aluminum members welded to it, the studs and framing in the walls
and roof members. All other items are covered by the standard three (3) year
limited warranty.
The
ATCI warranty is valid only if the trailer is (a) Returned to ATCI or (b)
Returned to a repair facility authorized by ATCI. Reasonable notification
must be given for all repairs. A written estimate must be provided to ATCI
prior to work being performed. Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of
trailer, rental or substitute equipment, loss of revenue or other commercial
loss is not covered by this warranty. |
This
warranty does not cover freight to or from ATCI for repairs. The original
purchaser of the warrantor’s product and any person to whom the product is
transferred, and any person who is an intended user or beneficiary of the
product shall not be entitled to recover from the warrantor any
consequential or incidental damages resulting from any defect in the
product. Damages include loss of use of the trailer, loss of revenues or any
other commercial losses, subsequent use of rental equipment, loss of time
and inconvenience.
This
warranty is void if the product has been abused, overloaded,
inappropriately loaded, neglected or misused in any way. ATCI reserves
the exclusive right to determine whether or not the consumer has misused the
product. The purchaser must notify the warrantor (ATCI) at the address below
of any defect within fifteen days after it is, or should have been
discovered. Purchaser must complete and return to ATCI the warranty form at
the bottom to obtain warranty service within 30 days of purchase.
The
3M VHB tape used for bonding the seams on the screwless exterior has a
limited temperature rating. In extreme situations, if units exceed this
temperature, this may cause problems with the screwless exterior. If
problems should arise with the screwless exterior, ATCI will apply rivets or
screws in the walls as a part of our warranty procedure.
